The Parks ticket includes access to the Archaeological Areas of Paestum and of Velia, and the National Archaeological Museum of Paestum. The ticket is valid for three consecutive days.The Parks are open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Last admission and ticket office closure: 6:30 p.m.
Booking is not mandatory. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
It is recommended to wear flat, comfortable shoes during your visit.

The Porta Cerere entrance can be used both for entry (by visitors already holding a ticket to the Parks) and for exit.
Access Hours to the Archaeological Areas of Paestum and of Velia
From 30 March 2025 to 21 September 2026, access to the archaeological areas of Paestum and Velia, as well as the Paestum Museum, will follow these regulations:
The Parks are open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Last admission and ticket office closure: 6:30 p.m.
Last admission to the archaeological area is at 6:30 PM.
At 7:00 PM, security personnel will assist visitors in exiting the site from the Main Gate (Porta Principale) to Porta Cerere.
Last admission to the Museum is at 7:00 PM
Last admission for a complete visit of the archaeological area is at 5:30 PM
Last admission for visiting the lower section of the archaeological area is at 6:30 PM
Children under the age of 12 may enter only if accompanied by an adult.
It is recommended to wear flat shoes.
Park attendants, visitor assistants, and security staff are authorized to ask violators to leave the museum premises and/or the archaeological sites.
Free Entry: A list of students and accompanying teachers, printed on the school’s official letterhead, must be submitted at the ticket office.
Guided Tours: The Archaeological Parks of Paestum and Velia do not offer internal guided tour services.
ZOOM UPHIL
For a more immersive visit, the Zoom Uphill, a free off-road electric vehicle with four-wheel drive, is available to help people with mobility difficulties admire some of the most scenic and iconic areas of the Paestum and Velia archaeological sites.

No cloakroom service is available. School groups are advised to leave their backpacks on buses.
